Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager, South East Asia (SEA) provides planning, implementing, managing and controlling of all commercial Sales and Marketing activities in the territory.

As a direct report to the CEO, this position will develop SEA territory.

The successful candidate is dynamic, driven and has a strong alignment with ADL’s vision of ‘providing leading edge technology and advanced solutions for accurate patient results.’.

Position Description

Key Outcomes:
– Achieving the sales targets as agreed with the Board.
– Develop a network of customers in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
– Maintain awareness of competitors’ activities and strategies.
– Identify areas of potential growth.

Major Activities To Support Result Areas
– Build up new customer funnel, develop customers and establish relationships.
– Direct and monitor all aspects of the sales and marketing requirements for customers, such as marketing plans, sales and budgets.
– Develop sales collaterals, such as website, product flyers, etc.
– Manage, monitor and analyse customer accounts for sales forecasting and achievement, cost control, profitability and credit management.
– Provide timely and accurate analysis of market trends, budgets, financial and currency trends for forecast.
– Responsible for the development and adherence to sales and marketing budget and strategy.
– Support sales campaigns.
– Monitor competitors activities and strategies.

Position Requirements

– Preferably 3 years experience in a Clinical Sales and Marketing position in a dynamic organization.
– Direct and hands-on experience of Sales and Marketing operations in a dynamic multi-national environment.
– Direct customer interface and experience in the molecular diagnostic industry or Life Science Industry
– Bachelors or equivalent degree in Science, Business or Marketing from an accredited college or university would be an advantage
– MBA Qualification would be an advantage.
– Strong interpersonal and team skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.

Medical Lab Technician

Asian Diagnostics Laboratories Pte. Ltd. (ADL) is a CAP-accredited Molecular Diagnostics laboratories located in Science Park 2. ADL offers in vitro diagnostic tests for infectious diseases and oncology using qPCR and NGS assays running on an automated workflow. We are looking for an individual who has clinical lab experience and like challenges, is independent and want to make a difference.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate would have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in the life sciences with at least 1 year laboratory experience. Experience with qPCR or NGS will be an advantage.

Laboratory Manager/Assistant Lab Manager

The Laboratory Manager/Assistant Manager works with the Medical Director to ensure that the lab functions safely and efficiently, that appropriate test assays are developed and validated.

Position Description

The successful candidate must be able to work independently, develop and validate new test protocols. Key outcomes include maintaining a safe operating environment, processing clinical samples in a timely manner, and maintaining the accreditation of the laboratory.

Position Requirements

– Doctorate degree in Genetics, Laboratory Medicine or other relevant life science degree with supervisory experience, or Master’s degree with at least 2 years experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years laboratory experience (including NGS experience)
– Familiarity with laboratory quality programs, such as GLP, CLIA or CAP would be an advantage
– Able to lead and manage a team.
– Able to conduct risk assessments and design safe work processes.
– Able to develop and maintain SOPs, QC processes.
– Meticulous, organised with an ability to multi-task
– Good communication abilities in English (written and verbal).
– Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment
