Mr Tillmann has 25 years of experience in senior executive positions for multinational companies in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry. Mr Tillmann has found Asian Diagnostics Laboratories in order to address the needs of molecular diagnostics testing in South East Asia.
Previously Mr Tillmann has founded Vela Diagnostics and with the vision of establishing the company as a global provider of integrated IVD solutions that address individual customer needs in molecular diagnostics. Prior to that, he was President & CEO for Roche Diagnostics in North America and before that in Asia Pacific and Europe. Prior to the Roche assignments, Mr Tillmann was Managing Director of the start-up company artus GmbH, which was later acquired by Qiagen.
Mr Tillmann started his career in a pharmaceutical trading house, Holstein GmbH, as Managing Director, representing over 20 principals in Japan and South East Asia.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr Bhuwnesh Agrawal is an industry veteran with a career in academic and corporate positions spanning over 38 years.
As CMO, Dr Agrawal oversees all matters of clinical relevance for ADL. In addition, he is responsible for fostering partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies for companion diagnostics.
Dr Agrawal spent 15 years at the Free University of Berlin in research, teaching and patient management at the start of his career. Subsequently, he worked in the pharmaceuticals and diagnostics divisions of Boehringer Mannheim/Roche in a variety of roles from clinical research, strategy and business development, to marketing and sales, for more than 20 years.
He has also held various local, regional, global and corporate responsibilities in Germany, Switzerland and India, from where he headed the South Asia business for Roche Diagnostics from 2007-2012 before joining ADL.
Dr Agrawal is a medical doctor by training with specializations in Internal Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology, and Pharmacology and Toxicology from Germany. He also received his MBA from the Open University, UK and his PhD from the Free University of Berlin.
Ms Chong has extensive experience in various laboratory management and operational capacities: production, QC, process validation, clinical validation, QA and regulatory expertise in ISO13485 setting, as well as troubleshooting of molecular diagnostic kits in daily laboratory rhythm.
In her current role as Laboratory Manager, Ms Chong is in charge of end-to-end laboratory operations landscape. She carries out the following functions: Lab Management, maintaining accreditation of the company, inventory management and maintaining lab equipments and documents as per CAP regulation.
Before joining ADL, she served as a Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory manger in AITbiotech, based in Singapore, and prior to that worked in the Molecular Diagnostics Department as a Senior Lab Specialist.
She started her career in academic setting in National Cancer Center Singapore before moving on to Duke-NUS.
Ms Chong holds BSc degree in Biomedical Science and MSC in Physiology University Putra Malaysia in Malaysia.
